Laura Pocket, The Crystal Skulls
& The Sapphire Blue Dragon Medicine Wheel
Laura Pocket also works as a Musician & Performance Artist, and has written & staged four plays using the name Laura Griffin. This includes "2012... In The Garden Of The Conscious Presence (Without Dave)", which was presented in the main theatre at Poole Lighthouse, in Dorset, England. July 2009. She is singer/double bass player in the musical duo 'Glowglobes' with her husband John Holmes. In 2012, Glowglobes will be touring theatres & festivals with Northampton-based Storyteller, Jo Blake, with a collaboratively devised piece entitled 'The girl who became a boy", which is based on an Albanian wonder tale.
Trigger to Awakening
I was performing music in a bar with my partner John in September 2006. After the performance I met a woman who said she could see a halo above my head throughout the performance, and rainbows all around us; it was her birthday. She described herself as a Lightworker- the first time I had heard this term… Meeting Alisa, who was also a Reiki master, introduced me to a group of Lightworkers, as well as an exciting library of books, concepts that excited me hugely, and pocketfuls of crystals! I joined the weekly sessions, and found it rewarding and meaningful to be meeting in this group of people interested in energy work, self development, and sending out a huge bubble of healing light to wherever it was needed most on the globe… Then one day, a lady came in to talk about something called Mer-Ka-Ba. I was immediately beguiled by this tall, elegant lady- who was both giddy with a child-like simplicity & carefree lightness of being, and authoritative in a way that commanded awe, humility and belief in what she was saying. I knew she was significant to me in a way I could not explain. I wanted to see this woman again- I loved her! The woman was Amarna joy Sinclair, trance channeller for the Ascended masters and Flower of Life workshop leader
Flower Of Life
My experience of the Flower of Life workshop was a true awakening, and sudden plugging in to my higher self. I experienced the touch and delicate loving embrace of angels, the uplifting energy and humour, as well as a personal message from saint Germaine- who cupped my face, looked into my eyes (through Amarna’s body) and instructed that ‘not one will be left behind’. He told this intimate group that we had all been together before and would be again. But the pinnacle of these transformational experiences, was standing before the awesome divine radiance of Lord Sananda… We were engaged in an exercise channelling spiral energy, whereby the small circle of people holding hands would be inexplicably ‘tugged’ in a direction, and begin to move in and see spiral patterns. It was my turn to be the one having a unique experience in the centre of the circle, when he came through. Everyone present beheld it, but I seemed to be feeling the presence with the most intensity. I was filled with a combination of ecstasy & grief. Tears were falling from my face and I kept repeating the words ‘I want to go home’, I could feel ‘Home’ so closely, it was both a comfort and an agony to experience. I remember falling to my knees in total veneration & love for this mighty being who spoke and gestured through Amarna, whilst exuding the light of the Christ. After the message, we sat in silence as Amarna came back to herself, and I asked, who was that being? Lord Sananda, she replied. I had never heard of Lord Sananda. It is another name for Jesus Christ, they told me.
It was during this workshop that I made declarations to be an open channel for these beings of light to work through me for the highest good. It was here I had my light body activated, and began an intimate relationship with my higher Self. This took place on March 10th & 11th 2007.

Training
The following morning I awoke in bed to find my jaw was being moved by an unseen presence. It felt nice, but naturally, my intellect was demanding to know the cause of this phenomenon. As the days and weeks unfolded, I surrendered to the will of what felt like an other, separate entity/intelligence. It would work through my body, manipulating every muscle in my face, sometimes puppeteering me all around the room! I was spun round and around until dizzy, I was breathed deeply in and out, utilizing the fullest capacity of my lungs. Whenever I asked who is this working with me, I was given no names or explanations. However, I learned to tune into the subtle things, and began to learn communication without intellectual concepts and words. Rather, I would be shown things on walks, led into situations, and my hands would salute things to indicate where I place my focus. Whenever I attempted to meditate, I would be moved- sometimes enduring a painful headlock; and I would be frozen in this position for ages, beyond my control… I had chosen to surrender my will to this higher force, and embraced the consequences- but sometimes it was tiring, a challenge to reconcile with ‘normal’ behaviour, and inconvenient when I had other domestic commitments! And then I discovered my healing hands. I would be laying beside my husband, when suddenly, my hand would lift into a life of it’s own, and be magnetically drawn to an area of his body, and heat & tingling would announce the energy passing through me to the area needing healing. I didn’t understand what was going on, but simply surrendered to this ‘other’ intelligence, and learned by observation. I tried to communicate through holding a pen on paper, but was mainly shown energy patterns of spirals and such. However, one morning my hand drew my double bass! And a gesture towards the actual instrument in the room, and then back to my heart. An approval, I felt, and encouragement of my path of working with sound vibrations as a musician. I was delighted! I still wasn’t sure whether I was working with an ascended master, my guardian angel, my higher self or what! I eventually resigned myself to total acceptance, and abandoned the pursuit of needing to intellectually identify what, exactly I was experiencing, and to pigeon hole it. It was embarrassing at meditation groups, because the energy would come in and move me around, have me pointing at different people etc, and I’d sometimes end up sprawled on the floor, my head inches from other people’s feet! Nobody else seemed to have encountered this, except Amarna, who had had similar experiences. She reassured that all was unfolding PERFECTLY and I should allow without fear. But I wanted to be able to harness the healing capacity, rather than leave it to random happenings initiated by the hand; and so I completed a Magnified Healing course, also with Amarna, and acquired my beautiful certificate in May 2007. This gave me direct experience of Quan Yin’s energy, and I began to discern, and identify differences between energies I experienced as coming into my body. In addition to attending the weekly Lightworker group, I also met at Amarna’s house with a couple of others, for an informal meditation. I also continued my reading trail, and was guided to Barbara Hand Clow’s books, and a lot of channelled material, including The Pleiadian Workbook & The Hathor material. I began to use an alter and orientate myself to the 7 sacred directions, and kept to a sometimes rather complex self-imposed meditation regime, integrating various schools of thought and the Tzolkien day count. Meanwhile, my higher self found a voice through the rather unconventional plays I was writing & producing; and woven into these tapestries, if I only I paused to contemplate, were clues to the nature of my true being & knowing...

In 2010 I was initiated into Crystal Keys healing, with Gillian Ellis. The process of working with this system has allowed me to grow in experience & confidence as a multi-dimensional healer... with the constant nurturance of the guides, developing my own techniques and allowing spirit to work through my vocal chords. The noises that come out can be rather intense, sometimes very deep or high, and extremely loud! And more recently, the spoken word...
The capacities of sound vibration really are extraordinary- through sound, it seems, we can access everything! It is possible to pin point a particle, a specific tiny area- or something that lies hidden, and bring it out, into view- for whatever purposes- transmutation, knowledge, exchange, activation... The more experience I gain though, the more evident it becomes that I know this work; I AM a master... The process of creating essences brings further expanded awareness of how "Self/Other/All that is" is intimately interconnected. I am learning nothing new, I am simply remembering techniques & God-given abilities we have been using for eons! ...
There is an abundance of assistance that surrounds; all one need do is tune-in, open the heart, TRUST, ALLOW- and all unfolds PERFECTLY!
And so it is.
